New Mexico Showcase Ribbon Cutting!

The inaugural installation of the New Mexico Showcase, “Everyday Odysseys: Relics of Life & Adventure in New Mexico,” is currently showing at New Mexico History Museum. Through the lens of curiosity and imagination, this exhibit explores the ordinary objects that have shaped the state’s rich and diverse heritage. Located in the museum’s second floor gathering space, the installation features a selection of objects drawn from the Museum’s extensive collection.

Join us for a celebratory ribbon cutting on Friday, August 9th, from 5 to 7 pm. Enjoy extended museum hours, complimentary refreshments, SWAG, and the opportunity to be among the first to experience this exciting new exhibit. Admission is free for New Mexico residents.

New Mexico Showcase offers a fun rate to explore state history through a range of items from the museum’s collection. This rotating exhibit space will feature a rotating display of items brought out of storage ranging from iconic to commonplace and old favorites to new acquisitions.
